COVID 19 REOPENING PROCEDURES: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is open and has implemented safety protocols to ensure a trusted space for the well-being of our crew and guests. Continue your journey safely where rockets launch, and inspiration begins at Florida's gateway to space. During this next phase of reopening, guests are invited to explore more of the NASA story by reopening all main visitor complex attractions including the IMAX Theater, Shuttle Launch Experience® and Universe Theater. As part of our commitment to creating a Trusted Space for our guests and employees, these measures and procedures are in place: • Opening with limited attendance and encouraging advance daily admission purchases such as from Gray Line Orlando • Requiring face coverings for employees and guests • Accommodating social distancing in queues, restaurants, and other facilities throughout the visitor complex • All theaters and pre-shows will open in a limited capacity to promote social distancing. • Requiring temperature screenings of all employees and guests prior to entry. Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either. • Implementing increased frequency of sanitization and disinfection. • Changing operating hours to 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. to allow more time for cleaning and sanitizing. While Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is implementing new measures and procedure, please remember that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Guests that visit on or before October 1st 2020, will receive a complimentary admission ticket for return use between January 1st – December 24th 2021.
