Itinerary

Space View Park is located less than 15 miles directly across the Indian River from the launch pads of the Canaveral Spaceport. The Park is the first and only walk in the nation that honors America's astronauts as well as the men and women behind the scenes who helped America lead the world in space exploration.

We bring you from the Central Florida region to this city park which is the preferred viewing locations of many locals, as you don't have to fight with the lines to enter into the space center facility, and you can have a direct line of sight to the rocket on the launch pad.

There are not many facilities in the area of the park, so we recommend you bring with you a collapsible chair, your entertainment devices (iPad / kindle / phone / book etc) and dress appropriately for the weather. Upon arrival at the park you can stake out your position and relax until the time is upon us for the launch. We would note that we plan to arrive at the park earlier then the launch window in order to attempt to beat the traffic and late comers who will also be vying for position.

The launch window opens at 14:16pm stays open until 16:16pm EST.

NASA’s Space Launch System heavy-lift rocket will launch on its first test flight with an uncrewed Orion spacecraft. The mission, known as Artemis 1, will place the Orion spacecraft into orbit around the moon before the capsule returns to Earth for splashdown in the Pacific Ocean. Ten small CubeSat rideshare payloads will also launch on the Artemis 1 mission.

For people wanting to see the rocket lift off this is a great viewing area but we do note that you should be prepared for limited facilities at the area. We as a company have been bringing people to view launches from this location since the 90s and it is always a favorite spot to view.
