Once the trip got started, it was great! The bus to pick us up at Icon park was late, but they extended our leaving time from Clearwater a little bit to make up for it.

The coach driver was fun and entertaining. The beach is stunning. The aquarium was great and wr visited Hulk Hogan's gift shop. We had an absolute blast! It is about a 20 min walk from the beach to the aquarium though so if you're not into walking then do a bit of research on how to travel via Jolley Trolley. We got on the wrong one - what a fun magical mystery tour!

Itinerary

We transport you to the West Coast, where you will have free time to enjoy on Clearwater Beach.

Then, during the day, you will visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Their unique facility is home to underwater viewing windows, a hands-on stingray beach, and many other one-of-a-kind animal homes and exhibits that are truly different. You can also hear the Legacy of Winter the dolphin, who was a recused dolphin who made it as a Hollywood star, of DolphinTail movies!

Not your typical aquarium, Clearwater Marine Aquarium believes in preserving our environment while inspiring the human spirit through leadership in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life; environmental education; research; and conservation.
At CMA learn about all the rescued and resident animals. Catch some of the daily presentations and make sure to watch the daily programs in the theatre. Boat tours, animal care experiences and behind-the-scenes tours will add at least another hour to your day and can be added on at ticketing. Enjoy the views of Clearwater Bay from the harbor view deck and stranding deck. Discover a variety of animals including dolphins, pelicans, sea turtles, otters, sharks, and other animals. Many residents cannot be released due to a variety of reasons, so you can visit them in their permanent habitats and learn their stories. See several animals currently undergoing rehabilitation in the working animal hospital. The presentations and talks throughout the day aim to educate you in a fun way about the work going on to take care of the marine life and the environment. 100% of your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium helps fund our vital mission of rescue, rehab, and release.

Following time at the aquarium you will be able to enjoy all afternoon on Clearwater Beach. This white sand beach has a promenade and pier that can be strolled along, you can take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and just enjoy your free time in this area.

Returning to Orlando in the afternoon, you will be back in Orlando around 6:30pm traffic dependent.

We have meeting points throughout the tourism corridors of Orlando, Lake Buena Vista, and Kissimmee including the Disney and Universal areas. Please arrive to your meeting location at least 5 to 10 minutes prior to the departure time. Wait outside the meeting point as the Guides will not go into lobbies or stores to look for guests
