On this tour, you will experience life size gingerbread houses, massive amounts of ice, and a Florida snowfall! We travel around the central Florida area to see some of the best holiday sights. This is an afternoon perfect for spending with family!
The first stop on the agenda smells so amazing, you will be tempted to take a bite. At Disney’s Grand Floridian resort, you will witness a life size gingerbread house! The Disney bakers have added magic to their recipe to create a masterpiece of giant proportions. After marveling this we also make a stop at the Yacht and Beach Club resort to see the moving carousel that is composed of gingerbread as well!
Next on the tour is the Gaylord Palms and ICE! Before entering you will need to suit up in a provided parka, but make sure you wear closed toe shoes. The temperatures in the “Florida Fridge” are a chilly 9 degrees! Upon entering you will be wowed at the beauty of the over 2 million pounds of ice that has been hand carved to create the story of a Charlie Brown Christmas. Walking through the exhibit, the story will unfold before you through interactive ice sculptures. There are also FOUR ice slides that you simply cannot miss!
The last stop on this wonderful evening is the town of Celebration. Only here, will you get to see it snow in Florida. The magical people of Disney have done it again as the coat the town square of this picture-perfect town in white. Just standing here will fill you with the holiday spirit. This is truly a scene from a fairytale and the perfect happily ever ending.
